MY BIO - WHO AM I? I'M THE REI ROCKSTAR!

Picture
Who am I? I'm Randy Matthew.

I'm a real estate investor from Phoenix, Arizona.

Let me share my story with you so we can get to know each other a little better. OK?

Look I grew up with an American father who was raised on a farm in Kentucky by his Grandfather!

This man knew what it meant to WORD HARD and when I was a young boy, he would at times rub his two fingers together and tell me it’s a violin playing a sad song for me when I was complaining about something petty.

Just picture what growing up with John Wayne would look like. This guy worked 12-hour days and never called in sick to work.

My mother, well she is an immigrant from Mexico - She raised 7 kids! PERIOD!

My family moved from Illinois out west to avoid the violence in South Chicago back in the early 1980's.

The only problem was we live in beautiful Paradise Valley, AZ for what seemed like six months until my father decided to buy a home across the street from his employer and that home was in West Phoenix in a suburb called Maryvale.

This neighborhood quickly became worse and worse and crime soured throughout the 1990's earning this "hood" the nickname - SCARYVALE.

Throughout my teen years I've been shot at, I've been jumped, I've seen drug deals, and I witnessed prostitutes getting picked up on the daily.

I knew early on that if I didn't "stay out of trouble" I'd end up like all my other so called friends - DEAD OR IN PRISON.

Through all the distraction and mischief, there was hope for me.

My father was a musician and I admired that about him. It wasn't uncommon for family to come over after church on Sundays' for a little jam session. They played religious songs and country western - even some old rock and roll.

I caught the guitar bug around the age of 14 and within a few years I was jamming in a band and playing shows at local bars and clubs.

Looking back, it was this that kept me out of hand cuffs and jail cells.

I never had any ill will towards others and in fact if we ever meet you'd be sure to hear what I hear everyone tell me - "Randy's such a nice guy." LOL. Whatever that means.

I eventually hung up the guitar once I saw the writing on the wall and accepted the fact that getting that big record deal wasn't really what I wanted. I just wanted out of the GHETTO - I wanted to be a part of the American Dream.

One day my little brother told me his college professor said something about tax lien investments and how you could literally buy a house by just paying the back taxes for the true homeowner and then waiting for them to default.

I was blown away and I spent the next several months reading anything and everything about "real estate investing" - I even ordered a book from a late night infomercial. Thanks Dean Graziosi.

As the story goes, I spun my tires for two years until I did my first deal. Let me say that again so it sinks in. I did not do a deal for two years!

I later found out my "condition" had a name - Analysis Paralysis with a little bit of "shiny object syndrome".

After months of reading, studying and collect contacts I had no deal to show for all my "hard work".

To be a little forgiving, the market shifted entirely after the big real estate crash of 07'-08'.

I eventually knew this as I lost my own home to foreclosure - Yes - my so called first investment flip was an investment 'FLOP".

Something about me, I refuse to fail - its learn and move on. I literally just did what I always do after a disappointment - I just keep going.

That is until I got a mentor - I won't get it to that part of the story just yet - but I'll be sure to follow up with you soon and share the details step by step - you’re going to love it!

After that first deal with my mentor, I did many real estate deals and the rest is history.

I now own and operate a full time real estate investment firm here in Arizona - It’s a lot of fun and from this I now own three different companies outside of real estate.

I'm no different than you other than I took what could have been a bad situation and made the best of it.

I didn't have to reinvent myself, I just learned and implemented until success came.

Call me a rebel, CALL ME A REAL ESTATE INVESTING ROCKSTAR.

Raving Reviews

"Randy, I can't thank you enough man. I wish I would have had your mentoring program years ago when I spent way to much at another boot camp. Anyhow we did it. I signed up 3 months ago and we've done 2 deals together netting me $15,356.34!
